Qiu Xing Ba Shou (Eight Poems on Autumn Meditations)
Client: Tonglifang Cultural Brand Management Co., Ltd. Developed storyboard, character designs, and visual direction to establish a cohesive narrative and visual language, and created 30 pages (15 spreads) of illustrations, integrating historical references into character, costume, architectural, and environmental details.
Designed for Chinese students, this picture book visually interprets Du Fu's poem series "Qiu Xing Ba Shou (Eight Poems on Autumn Meditations)," written in his later years. The illustrations capture the autumn scenery, the poet's memories of the prosperous capital, his sorrow over unfulfilled aspirations, and his deep concern for the nation's turmoil during the Tang Dynasty. Combining visual expression and poetry, this book aims to help students better understand the poetic content and the emotions.

Client/Licensee: Dayu Culture Media Co., Ltd. Licensed the original illustration “Her Garden” to be used as the cover artwork of Lingyue Xu’s published novel, and adapted the artwork for additional promotional applications and accompanying materials.
