Ashes of the Illusion
Inspired by the theme of “wandering into another realm,” often found in Chinese supernatural tales, I visualize my understanding and interpretation of the Buddhist concept “Three-Thousand Great Worlds” and the notions of “dream,” “illusion,” and “reality.”
Within countless worlds, we move through endless cycles of existence. Brief flashes of life flow within eternity, perceiving only the appearance of the world. Yet this appearance is, in reality, the fleeting dream, the projection of inner self, and the ashes of the illusion.
